Waterproofing Solutions
RBP waterproofing solutions are delivered through an innovative, performance-driven approach that goes beyond conventional methods. We integrate advanced materials, cutting-edge application techniques and thorough diagnostic assessments to identify and address the root causes of water ingress – not just the symptoms.

Concrete Cancer & Crack Repairs
Concrete cancer and crack repairs require a precise, engineered approach to restore both structural integrity and long-term durability. Our methodology begins with a detailed assessment to identify the extent of reinforcement corrosion and underlying causes of cracking, followed by targeted treatment including removal of compromised concrete, anti-corrosion protection of steel reinforcement and reinstatement using high-performance repair mortars.

Structural Repairs
Our structural repairs services focus on restoring the strength, stability and longevity of compromised buildings and infrastructure. Using a combination of advanced assessment techniques, engineered repair solutions and high-performance materials, we address issues such as weakened concrete, corroded reinforcement and load-bering deficiencies.

Design & Construct
Our Design & Construct services offer a seamless, end-to-end solution, integrating innovative design with expert construction delivery. By managing both the creative and technical aspects of a project, we ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness and a streamlined process from concept to completion.

Commercial Fitout & Refurbishment
Our commercial fitout and refurbishment services deliver tailored, high-quality interior solutions that optimise functionality, brand identity and occupant experience. From initial design and space planning to precision construction and finishing, we manage every stage with meticulous attention to detail and compliance with regulatory standards.

Facade Restoration
Our facade restoration services combine technical expertise with innovative solutions to rejuvenate and protect building exteriors. We assess the condition of cladding, concrete and masonry to identify deterioration, water ingress or structural weaknesses, then implement targeted restoration techniques using high-performance materials and coatings.

Heritage Restoration
RBP heritage restoration services are designed to preserve the character and integrity of historically significant buildings while ensuing modern performance standards. RBP team combine meticulous research, traditional craftsmanship and advanced restoration techniques to address structural weaknesses, material decay and water damage without compromising original features.

Our Process
How We Work
Remedial Building Practitioners (RBP) manage every project with a thorough process — from assessment and diagnosis to tailored remediation and final handover — ensuring all works are conducted safely and fully in compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
Step 01
Enquire and Initial Consultation
Meet with the client to understand concerns, project requirements and desired outcomes. Conduct a detailed site inspection to assess the building’s condition, identify defects and evaluate safety risks. Document findings with photos, measurements and preliminary notes.
Step 02
Investigation and Diagnosis
Perform thorough investigations to determine the root cause of defects (structural, water ingress, corrosion or façade issues). Engage specialist testing or Engineering Reports if required to ensure compliance with Australian standards. Prepare a comprehensive report outlining findings, risk assessment and recommended remedial strategies.
Step 03
Proposal and Quotation
Develop tailored solutions based on the client’s budget, timelines and building requirements. Provide a detailed proposal including scope of works, methods, materials, compliance considerations and pricing. Discuss and finalise the project plan with the client before commencing work.
Step 04
Planning and Approvals
Coordinate with engineers, building certifiers or relevant authorities to obtain any required approvals or permits. Prepare detailed schedules, risk management plans, and safety documentation.
Step 05
Work Commencement
Mobilise skilled teams and resources to carry out works according to the approved plan.Monitor and maintain strict quality control throughout the project, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and safety regulations. Address unforeseen issues promptly while keeping the client informed.

Testimonial

We engaged Remedial Building Practitioners for major remedial works at our 4-villa complex in Peakhurst Heights.
After ongoing issues with slab movement and failed previous repairs, they took a completely different approach and handled everything from design through to construction with their in-house team.
The process was professional and well managed throughout and the final result is of a very high standard. Most importantly, we now have confidence the issue has been properly resolved long-term.
We are very pleased with the outcome, along with our managing strata company Shire One Strata. Would highly recommend for high-end and complex remedial projects.

Our FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions?
How RBP work and why.
We specialise in identifying and rectifying building defects across residential, commercial, and strata properties. This includes waterproofing failures, structural cracking, concrete spalling, facade issues, balcony deterioration, and non-compliant construction. Our focus is on addressing the root cause of defects—not just the visible symptoms.
Common indicators include cracking in walls or slabs, doors or windows no longer closing properly, uneven floors, and water ingress. If you’re noticing any of these signs, it’s important to have the issue assessed early to prevent further deterioration and increased repair costs.
Yes. Water ingress is one of the most common and damaging building defects. We identify the source of the issue and implement compliant waterproofing systems to ensure long-term performance, rather than temporary patch repairs.
Building defects typically worsen over time. What may start as minor cracking or water ingress can lead to structural damage, safety risks, and significantly higher repair costs if not addressed early.
For strata buildings, fragmented responsibility between consultants and builders often leads to delays, cost overruns, and disputes.
Our D&C model:
• Eliminates gaps between design and construction
• Ensures buildable, practical solutions
• Reduces variations and unexpected costs
• Streamlines communication across all stakeholders
• Provides clear accountability from start to finish
This is critical in Class 2 projects where compliance and risk exposure are high.
Costs depend on the extent of defects, access requirements, and complexity of the works. We provide clear, structured pricing aligned with the agreed scope to assist committees with budgeting and decision-making.
Yes. All works are carried out in accordance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
Our coordinated approach ensures both design and construction meet compliance requirements.
